To install an EA (Expert Advisor) in MT4 (MetaTrader 4) and Presets (.SET), you can follow these steps:
- First, make sure the EA file is in the correct format, typically a .mq4 or .ex4 file.
- Open MT4 and go to the “Navigator” tab, which is located at the bottom of the screen.
- Under the “Navigator” tab, find the “Expert Advisors” section and click on it to expand the options.
- Drag and drop the EA file onto the chart or right-click on the chart and select “Expert Advisors” then “Browse…”
- Select the EA file you wish to install and click “Open”
- After the EA is installed, it should appear in the “Navigator” tab under the “Expert Advisors” section.
